✅ Check for Standing Water and Clogged Drains
If you’ve got water sitting on your roof after a rain, that’s a warning sign. It could be as simple as a blocked drain—or it could point to bigger issues with slope or insulation.
What we do:
We clear all debris, check scuppers and downspouts, and make sure water is moving the way it should. If it’s not, we find out why and fix it fast.
✅ Look for Membrane Damage or Open Seams
Roofs take a beating over the winter—especially the membrane. UV exposure, freezing temps, and even foot traffic can cause blisters, cracking, or seam separation.

Our techs walk the roof and flag any wear and tear. Small membrane issues can be repaired quickly. Left alone, they can turn into leaks.
✅ Inspect Flashing, Edges, and Penetrations
Flashings and roof edges are the first line of defense—and one of the most common sources of leaks. We check every penetration, curb, and perimeter for movement, gaps, or deterioration.
What we’re looking for:
Loose metal, dried-out sealant, and places where the roofing system might be pulling away. These areas get special attention from us every spring.
✅ Review Interior Signs of Water Intrusion
Sometimes, the first sign of a roof problem is inside the building. Ceiling stains, bubbling paint, or a musty smell can all point to roof leaks.
