Cole Roofing Expands its Service Department Business

February 5, 2015

Mike Muffoletto leads and manages the Cole Service Department, a focused and very special division within the Cole services offering.  Cole Service provides client support in handling all Client Care projects. This includes preventive maintenance, tenant improvements, leak investigations and repairs, small reroofs, roof inspections, and general repairs.

A great example the many jobs that the service department has completed is a series of major slate repairs on the campus of Notre Dame of Maryland of University. The service department also does all of the roofing for Baltimore City Public Schools. Cole Service works with IAP World Services, who is a general contractor for the United States Naval Academy.

Mike has been working on establishing and building the service department’s capabilities for 10 years. Cole’s recent investment in expanding the service has improved the company’s capacity for solving our great client’s emergencies and issues by increasing the number of dedicated crews by 35%. And some of the service department’s general superintendents have more than 30+ years experience, so together the service department can solve almost any roofing problem!  So when you have a roofing emergency, or need a consultation, Cole Service is your preferred provider for Commercial Roofing problem solving!

Just some of the many jobs he has completed include: Under Armour – Joy and Cascade Renovations, Union Wharf, City Garage, and multiple projects for both Johns Hopkins and University of MD Medical Center.

Jim’s new responsibilities include oversight of all phases and departments involved in the execution of our construction contracts including Project Managers, Operations Managers, and Field Superintendents.

“As Vice President of Construction for Cole Roofing I look forward to reestablishing and fine tuning the processes and procedures that have made us the oldest and preferred commercial roofing company in Baltimore. I believe there are opportunities for better efficiency by our field superintendents and crews through more accurate labor tracking and job scheduling. I also plan to stay committed to the growth of our Wall Panel division.”
